Since 2005, the Teatro de La Abadía Foundation has been in charge of the management and programming of this wonderful historic stage space, featuring a wide range of performances here in the magnificent Old Town of Alcalá de Henares. All year round the Corral de Comedias de Alcalá offers a multidisciplinary programme combining tradition and modernity. The public can enjoy over thirty different shows in a wide range of excellent theatre, music, musical theatre, flamenco and children’s productions. 2013 will be featuring pieces like “Sé de un lugar”, the theatre sensation of the Barcelona season; Woody Allen’s “Maridos y mujeres” (Husbands and Wives), directed by Àlex Rigola, or “El café” (The Coffee House), by Rainer W.
