This marathon is held on Sunday 11th October, passing through the most beautiful side of the city and attracting sportspeople of all ages.
Coinciding with the festival of Pilar —12th October is a public holiday throughout Spain— Palma Marathon is a perfect chance to enjoy a few days’ holiday in Mallorca.
The marathon route runs along the seafront promenade (Paseo Marítimo) and through the historic city centre. For the weekend, organisers have scheduled activities like the Expo del Corredor, the Breakfast Run, the Pasta Party or the children’s race, Palma Kids Run.
Categories are established for all the distances based on the rules of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation. The first five male and female runners of each distance will be awarded trophies. Enrolment in the event includes services such as timing, Breakfast Run, checkroom, massage, Pasta Party, showers and participation certificate.
