In summer, it offers all kinds of services and exudes a family-friendly atmosphere. The municipality also boasts the beautiful beaches of Cala Sant Vicenç: Cala Molins — with fine sand —, Cala Carbó, which is gravelly and pebbly, Cala Clara, fairly busy due to the proximity of a large hotel, and Cala Barques, the largest beach, with fine, white sand. People who love hiking and solitude can reach the remote coves of Cala Castell and Cala Bóquer. And to enjoy a glamorous day of sun and sea, the best option is Formentor beach, with pine trees that kiss the transparent water, near to which stands the legendary luxury establishment, the Hotel Formentor.

Put your boots on!
Pollença has  some great attractions for hikers and nature lovers, who can trek along routes with different levels of difficulty. The long-distance Pedra en Sec route cuts through the terrain, running through the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range and linking Calvià with this municipality. Some paths run through the inland area, like the one known as Camí Vell de Lluc, whilst others lead to wild, solitary beaches, such as Cala Bóquer or Cala Murta. There are routes that penetrate the majestic landscape of Vall de Colonya, or which take one up to peaks like that of Fumat. Paths that beckon one to disconnect from routine, and reconnect with oneself.
