In fact, Lleida has three of Catalonia’s total of nine tourism brands: “Terres de Lleida”, “Pirineus” and “Val d’Aran”.

In the Pyrenees of Lleida lie the magnifi cent Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park with its over 200 crystalline lakes and the Alt Pirineu and Cadí-Moixeró Natural Parks. In the Pre-Pyrenees are the Montsec mountains, which boast one of Europe’s best skies with a complete absence of pollution, earning them the designation of Starlight Reserve and Tourist Destination, and on the plain lies Ivars and Vila-sana lake, forming inland Catalonia’s largest floodable area.

Nature goes hand in hand with the cultural heritage in Lleida. Tourists can enjoy a superb set of monuments, including the emblematic Romanesque site of Vall de Boí, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and the Seu Vella cathedral crowning the city of Lleida.

Lleida, the country's foremost snow and adventure sports area
