This jewel of Modernist architecture contains a permanent collection by the painter Hermen Anglada-Camarasa, offering a unique testimony on paper by the legendary Catalan artist. It consists of 400 pieces – oil paintings, drawings, prints, lithographs, sculptures and personal objects – which formed part of the artist’s collection. The “la Caixa” Bank Foundation acquired this legacy from the relatives of Anglada-Camarasa, and has exhibited the collection permanenty since 1993 at the CaixaForum Palma, a building designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner. Visitors can enjoy the artist’s works in exhibitions with content that is renewed every year.
The building is designed as a multi-purpose space, suitable as a venue for cultural activities, concerts, educational proposals, guided tours of the exhibitions and conferences, amongst other activities.
