Through its Culture Area, MAPFRE Foundation presents a programme of exhibitions featuring key artists and movements in the history of art and the modern world. From Impressionism to Surrealism and from Santiago Rusiñol and Odilon Redon to Picasso and Giacometti, for over 20 years MAPFRE Foundation has presented shows highlighting the essential facets of modernity. In parallel to this, it presents an ambitious programme of photography, with exhibitions devoted to outstanding figures like Walker Evans, Lisette Model, Cartier-Bresson and Paul Strand.
