Wine, olive oil, olives, sobrasada sausage, ensaimada buns, and almonds are foods of the highest quality that are rooted in Mallorca's culture and gastronomy.

These products have gone to shape the landscape and traditions of the island, nourishing countless generations of its inhabitants. Some, such as olive oil and wine, have been exported for centuries, while others, like sobrasada and ensaimadas, are now culinary emblems.

Today they all have a Designation of Origin (DO) or a Protected Geographical Indication (IGP in Spanish), which identify them and assure their quality. Here we offer you a brief guide that will help you to discover, recognize and enjoy them.
