The Disseny Hub museum located at Glòries is the main venue of over 120 activities presenting design’s many diverse facets to visitors.

The Barcelona Design Week (BDW), held by the Barcelona Design Centre (BCD), is an indispensable yearly event covering everything connected with design, creativity and innovation in the city. The 14th edition, which took place in the month of June, brought together the leading players in the design field, making BDW a major focus of attention in the city while arousing great international interest as well.

With more than 120 activities and exceeding 67,000 visitors – 25,000 more than in 2018 – the week of design staged in Barcelona has become one of the city’s major cultural definers and one of the most relevant Design Weeks Europe-wide.

The slogan for this year’s edition was ‘Transitions’, a phenomenon in which today’s society is immersed and which affects many fields, with design being one of them. As always, the activities of this event were open to everyone and included a wide range of exhibitions, workshops, talks and tours as well as meetings addressed to professionals and the corporate sector.
