Falling into the temptation of shopping is a must in Ibiza. Strolling through the network of medieval streets of La Marina and Sa Penya is quite an experience. All along the intricate maze of streets, little shops and boutiques blossom, showing multiple facets of fashion, ranging from exclusive international brands to the most loyal Adlib to tradition. Luxury, avant-garde and crafts go hand in hand in this kaleidoscopic Ibiza.

The shopping route in Ibiza Vila unavoidably passes through La Marina and Sa Penya, where the shops of designers like Charo Ruiz, a standard bearer of the most exported Adlib, can be found. In Vara de Rey, the most exclusive names rub shoulders with historic businesses.

Other towns with interesting purchase points are Santa Eulàlia, Sant Antoni, Sant Josep or Sant Joan. It is well worth searching through their shops to convince yourself that Ibiza is definitely the perfect island for shopping.

So as not to miss anything, there are other unmissable destinations on the same island. Its street markets are a pilgrimage site for fashion addicts. Without a shadow of a doubt the best-known one is Las Dalias in Sant Carles. The Es Canar street market has a history stretching back three decades and is the busiest one on the island. The Cala Llenya market is the most recent one – it made its debut in 2009 – held every Sunday very close to the beach.

Other unmissable stops are the Hippy Market Punta Arabí and the street markets of Sant Antoni, Playa d´en Bossa, Plaza de Sant Miquel or the Port of Ibiza, among many more. Fashion, art, crafts and gastronomy can be found amongst their stalls.
